I have been trying to get a simulated tool to show up from the simulation mode in V19. I did what the book said, turned the option on, did the tool setup and so forth but nothing. What am I missing??? |

| I am not sure if it is still teh same in 19, but you might want to check out a tutorial I wrote up about version 18 simulation. The tutorial is on one of the posts on the bobcad.com\forums website. Hope it helps if it did not change between versions. mc_n_g |

| Fastolds, If I am on the right page, you are just wanting to see the tool display on the drawing window. In order for it to show up you need to display your file extensions. Just open any folder, go to "Tools" => "Folder Options". Click on the "Views" tab, in the "Advanced Settings" window you will find an option that says "Hide Extensions for known file types", uncheck it. Click OK. Now inside the Tool Menu where you select the drawing they drawing files will have the .cad extension being displayed. As long as you uncheck the "No Drawing" option you will be good to go. Regards |

| On your computer you have many folders. Open one of them, it does not matter which because the change you are about to make will be global. Oh yeah, and if you are using Win 2000 or 98 your going to look under the "Views" Menu, for "Folder Options". If it is still unclear let me know. Regards |
