I can't find a setting to make the tool retract to the rapid plane between spring passes in a profile operation. Instead, the tool just cuts through the stock material on its way back to the beginning of the contour. I set the rapid plane to .25" in both the stock settings and in the profile feature itself, but I still have this problem |

| The Spirng Pass option was not designed for use with an open shape type operation. It would likely be best for you to add multiple operations, depending on the number of Spring Passes you wish to use, or use machine comp and run it as a sub, changing the diameter offset between passes. Regards |
