| Simple 2d milling op question. Hello! I have bobcad ver 22 and bob art. both liscenced copys with dongle. I have watched the dvd's, read the manual. searched the forums, searched the web etc... I canot seem to figure out how to take a black and white drawing of a fingerprint and make a toolpath that will only cut out the black ridges of a fingerprint image. I want to make the cut .075 deep and have it cut out all of the black in the image. nothing else, and not done "engraveing style" (only following the edge of a vectorized image) any suggestions or tutorials? thanks, nate.

| You have two options: 1) Vectorize the image and use a Pocketing Feature, this is general as I can not see the image. 2) Emboss from the image and use one of the 3D toolpath options (Z-Level most likely). Regards |
