| I am a new BobCadCam user - have had V19 for a couple of years and have self-taught myself a few of the basic functions. I'm trying to draw a pump impeller. A VERY simple one with 6 spiral vanes of equal height equidistant around the base disc of the impeller, starting in the center 1/2 inch off center and ending at the disc periphery. How do I geerate a spiral geometry? |

| Never did this type of geometry in V19. The newer versions have many more options. I am not real sure it can be done. However there is a free way to do this if you don't mind learning some more. Alibre offers a free solid modeler that can generate the form you need and then export to a STP if you register with them. Then Bobcad can open the STP solid for machining. |
