Is there any one that has used the new lathe system????? and is it better then the old??

The lathe is not officially released yet. The demo is available but they are incorporating the newest mill releases and the lathe modules together. Just an installation thing I believe.

Yes, The lathe demo is not the full version. In order for it to calculate toolpaths it has to connect to the interfacial web server.

The BobCAD-CAM 2007 Lathe system is now shipping. A new demo will be available on 9/14/2007 at www.bobcad.com.

The new release is available on the update web sight. The lathe module is now included.
