Anilam Crusader - and BobCADCAM (BCC)

I'm using BobCad Cam with my 1986 SuperMax milling machine whichis outfitted with an Anilam Crusader Servo based Controller. It is old - but works great.

I purchased BobCAD to post to the Anilam. I've actually had good success with both. The support at BCC has been very good, too. I have no complaints for the price paid and the performance I get (there is a lot more there than I need). I also use AutoCAD and Intellicad with it.

If there are any other Anilam-BCC users out there - I'd like to swap ideas and issues, etc.

Hi Joe,

Good to hear. What version are you using, 21 or 2007? I recently picked up a Millport w/ an Anilam 1100M (retrofit done in `97). I have had a chance to hook it up and use it yet. Hopefully will be soon though.

I'm using Version 21 BobCAD
I have heard good things about predator which is used in the Version2007 BobCAD Cam (I think).

But I have no plans of upgrading.
V21 has a lathe generation mode - which I also use in addition to the mill
I also like the Involute gear generator - which I'm not sure that is in V21

Probalby before I upgrade to a new version of BobCAD - I will upgrade my controller to Gecko Servo controllers - and use my BobCAD and my other software.

Thanks for the information. But I don't think I need more training in the Anilam controller - as everything is done by the BobCAD Post Processor.
