Rotating a model

I am working in Version 12 and was sent an IGES format model that loaded just fine. Problem is that it was saved in the assembled orientation. It is tilted something like 30 degrees, I am not sure of the precise angle. I want to rotate it to zero degrees on the one side in order to create cutter path.

Think of a shoe box top facing up with one edge raised.

I would like to select one surface (side) and make it equal to zero Z.

Do I have to go back to a CAD package or does Version 21 have an option?

Rotating is pretty simple in 21.

Part orientation (like rotate) is located in the change menu.

Tjones and I are always on CAD/CAM Trainer.COM Sorin Nenu's Help Forum. There is a lot of information on V21 in the BCC Sub-Forum that can help you.
