We've lost a member

Wanting to let any of you who know ERASE42 (Ed Rees) he passed away on Monday.

He was a great guy and the best friend in the world to have.

Sorry to hear the bad news. He was always very helpful here in the Forums. He will be missed by many of us. It is always sad to hear, but it makes one wonder why the good people have to go so soon.

Send our Respects to his Family and Friends if you could and thank you for letting us know.

He was a great benifit to this Community.

Sorry to hear about ERASE42

Thank You for letting the group know. I am a new member and all I can say is that this gentleman helped me fix a problem immediately. I just returned to this sight for the first time since he fixed my problem and found a message form him saying to contact him if I had any other questions. I responded with a new question and then read your message regarding his passing. I wish I could have had the opportunity to know him. What a helpful man he was.

My condolences

I did not know Ed personally and have never spoke to him. Unfortunately this is something we never like to hear. My deepest condolences go out to all that knew Ed and his family. I am sure he was close to many and I again would like to show my support as this is a hard time for many.

Hi guys, I was very close to Ed actually and spent many an hour in his shop. The family has asked me to keep his business afloat as it was starting to do well. I have some idea of the basics of the software, and have even used some of Ed's files to make a cut or two, but there is going to be a learning curve that I'm hoping to make as small as possible. I appreciate any help you all can offer. Thanks!
