thanks I'm looking for a little more detail. I am coming along fine with the stl I have a;ready...I can buy one in an stp format but the detail is not there. I've been building bikes sense 1978, This is going on the bike representing my shop. now that I have the time and resources, I'm going to build a working file with as much detail as possible... Thanks again....

The end result is directly connected to the effort applied

Yes, it's completely free, I only use it as a tool for converting .stl meshes into solids I can use in BobCAD.

I quite like targeted ads if they're not intensely annoying so I'll enable ads when your advertisers stop using annoying sounds, annoying slideshows and annoying animations

    Good to know

A while back was there some conversation about the mesh having to be water tight if so does it do a good job at that?

I don't create meshes in FreeCad, I use BobCAD V25 plus an old, free version of Netfabb (from before Autodesk bought the product and which can still be found on GitHub) to clean up any problem areas.

I'm posting this in hopes someone with the same problem can over come it by using my labor so you wont have to...... The answer to my problem was to use "emboise from component" in bobart .....
