Default choppy tool path, unsure why...

wondering if anyone can help me, its late, im tired, and im ready to put my keyboard through my moniter.

when i run simulation the tool path (of gear teeth) shows up really choppy with lots of errors, the CAD dwg is clean, and the tool path shows
that its clean in the CAD side of BobCAD but in simulation it shows errors. i have tried different posts as well.

    the file is attached.

have you used the "Erase Doubles" and "Cleanup and Optimize" functions on the geometry before selecting it for for the CAM?

I tried your file back as far as V26, wouldn`t open in V25 so I am assuming that you are running V26.
If so it may just be a Moduleworks Simulation issue, does it actually cut correctly at the machine or is it a mess?

What I found when I opened it in V26 was the same as you, when opened with later V27 it was the same but in V28 it was much better.

However I tried it using "System Compensation > Left" instead of your selected "Machine Compensation > G41" and the toolpath in the Simulation is fine, goes round the corners perfectly
So, if you don`t absolutely have to run G41 type code because you need to make tool diameter adjustments at the machine then try using the "System Compensation > Left" and you should be OK.

Image attached, if you are using V26 Build 1335 or later then I will upload a file if you want it.

    That`s all I have

    Regards
    Rob

Someone needs to look at the leads of "Right angle" with a value.....

If you reset the leads, it sims fine....

Crunching the tool size, directions and ".15" value....

As an added note, regarding your older, other post on it, your file has the okuma post processor listed. "My" okuma post outputs "R" values on your file and the bc3xmill post outputs "I's and J's"....

If you are outputing line segment code, then thats probably a post processor issue that can be looked at...
