Hello, I am new to using BobCAD-CAM, I am using version 20.6. I got a drawing from a customer where the drawing is of a gear with holes. For me I scan the drawing into my computer and try my best to redraw the part using Autodesk Inventor 2007, since I find the CAD side of BobCAD-CAM to be difficult to use. However, I notice that the part that I draw is not as smooth as the drawing. Does anyone know of a good method in drawing up a part a customer has given you? Thanks. |

| Can you post your drawing in DXF, DWG, STEP, or BCC file extentions for us to look at? I'm a little confused as to what your asking.

Here is the file, I am talking about. I would like to know of a better way other than scanning the drawing in and using Autodesk Inventor 11 to redraw the part to get it as accurate as the original drawing, given to me by the customer. |

| You do not have all the dimensions needed to complet the Drawing. I need the Center Diameter, Pitch Diameter, Bolt Hole Circle, and the Pressure Angle of the Gear. Without these you can't complete the drawing. I also replied on CAD/CAM Trainer.com http://cadcamtrainer.com/forums/show...=3435#post3435
