Bazzer,
The software does not support outputting 3x Cutter comp. If you are using it to finish a flat wall, then you will need to use profile rough or profile finish.
Guys
I am trying to use G41 cutter compensation for the first time but it does not seem to be present in the wizards. I am using V29 Mill Pro.
I can tell I am making a school boy error here but I cannot figure it out, any help gratefully received.
Thanks
Barrie

Hello Sean
Thanks for your reply and this clears the question up.
The part has a 3D feature that morphs into a 2D feature that has to be matched to the same 2D feature on the end of a bar, cutter comp would have been useful to assist the matching but we got it done anyway.
Thanks
Baz

Full 3D is kinda like 5D and really could not use cutter comp, because a lot of the cutting is done with a ball nose end mill. Unless things have been improved now with very high end software or machine controllers.
Macro,
Some controls do support 3,4, and 5 axis tool compensation.
