Can't save dxf or dwg all of a sudden. V26

I have been working on a file and all along I have been able to export dwg to send out. Today all of a sudden I get error

Failed in: Save

I tried restarting the app. I tried saving under different names, also created a new blank file and merged the main file and still the error. Did the file get corrupted? I have been saving with numbers this is file10. I opened file9 and it will allow dwg saving.

both on dwg or dxf. I need this solved asap, any suggestions please?

You cannot put * in a layer name and save dwg or dxf
