Update CAD after CAM

I have a 3d cad file that I already did CAM on. Tested all the paths when customer added a feature to the CAD drawing. I don't want to wipe out the CAM work.
How do I update the CAD file with this new feature without affecting the CAM?
I am assuming if I do a SAVE AS, with same name, it will over write everything I did.

I would charge the customer for the CAM time for the new part design. Adding a feature might change everything.

File merge will bring new geometry into your cad file. "Save" writes out the current file. "Save as" gives you abdialogue to "rename" the file and save it, leaving the original file as it was before you opened it....

The merge worked for most part on a test file, except they have me A down level file with added feature. good thing I did a test file.
I added the feature myself.

Anyway the merge, solves my question.
