    Default trouble 3d milling

I am trying to surface a .0625 radius on the top of the part, and I can get bobcad to do it, but it does one additional pass that cuts into the top of the part. Can anyone tell me why, or at least how to avoid this? I have attached a zip file

Yes sir. Didn't think I would need to select geometry that I didn't want to be touched. Hmmmm, still trying to figure this out.
    thanks for your help!

Lots of geometry selection errors in that file, but i believe (because most were non existent) that the file jad been stripped for sharing.

"MOST" of your "avoidance" will come from either boundaries, or settings"..... remember, the toolpath wont avoid what it "doesnt know is there". You have to select geometry for the path to know it exists!
