v26 measure entity and two entity doesnt display anything...

v26 measure entity and two entity doesnt display anything...

the tabbed window changes but only display a cancel button...there are no measurements of any kind displayed there....am i missing something here? is there a way to reset the default UI??

The Data is not shown in the pane with the "Cancel" button in it

You need to place your cursor on a blank area of your mail menu toolbar and right click, on the list that will appear you need to look for "Measure Entity" and it will probably be "unchecked", if so left click on it and a "check" tick should appear,it is now "enabled"
So now when you use the "Measure Entity" facility a new pane will appear with all the entity data in it, you can "drag" that pane to anywhere in your CAD area as shown

hmm...mine is checked but its not visible anywhere....the pane

Sounds like it has been dragged somewhere accidently, by default it would normally appear on the bottom left of your screen, below the "Layers, UCS, Posting" tab, try dragging that pane up or down.

Also look at the sides as it may have been "unpinned" which means it is hidden at the side.

Upload a screen shot with the "Measure Entity" checked as when that is checked the data pane should be permanently showing. What Build number of V26 are you using ?

not at home right now to try...will have to take a look at it later and figure out where it went...

Forgot to say, look around for a Blue ? mark on the left or right side as shown on the right of the attached image.



Also make sure that your screen resolution is correct and you have all of the BobCAD screen showing, it may just be hidden that way

this is what my screen looks like...no question mark...measure entity is checked...but not visible anywhere...can't seem to get it back

found it..

hooked up a second monitor (dual monitors)...i never run it with two monitors...found it fullscreen on the other monitor...dragged it back over to my main window.....
