    veiwing in 3d

i made a part in 2d and made a g-code for it not i want to be able to rotate it around and look at it, how do i do it? It is a 1" thick peice of round 6061 and has two holes cut in the center one on the back side going .3125 in to the material and the other on the front side going .6875 into the material. To get the code i simply drew 2 drawings, one of each side and transfered it to code and then combined them on notepad. any way to get this down a few steps and see the whole part as it should be front and back?

Are you asking if BobCAD can simulate both sides of a part (operation 1 & 2)? Or are you asking how to rotate a part freely to view a aspects and geometry?

To rotate view go to main menu View-rotate or on tool bar look for attach jpeg icon
To change drawing view for cam you will need to rotate wireframe so the bottom view is now at Z 0 and top view is 180 in Z. To do this select all, main menu change-rotate

well first of all you have to make a 3d part to be able to see it, you can extrude it and see how it looks on 3d if thats what you want.

Are you trying to Rotate after a Machining Simulation? Or Rotate a Part Drawing? I'm still not understanding what your trying to do.

are you trying to rotate part in relationship of the x y z axis if so select - go to change- rotate. If you only what to rotate veiw and not change the relationship of axis the render window can rotate veiw
