How can I make the 3D gear?

Hi,

I bought the BobCAD V21 a few days ago. Although Version 21 provided gear drawing. I would like to use planar surface, and than extrude surface. However I am tried too many time and change to 3D. That was unsuccessfully ever.
I understood what's problem, before I tried to check all kind of line and arrow directions. Which one will able tell me, how to solution this question? Thank you very much.

I am afraid I don't understand. What's meaning of "All chains must be closed". I was carefully to check earch arrow direction. Why? Thanks.

Thank you very much, I understood before I was missed something that was not choose the "Pick Chain". So that I was unable to make it. Now, I done it. Thanks a lot.

"All chains must be closed". after selecting chain go to reorganize this will put all the red arrow going the same way
