Red face Another noob with an elementary question.

I'm just experimenting with bobcad, I've looked at the tutorials from Sorin. I went to have a go at my first part. (a upper arm for a model Monster truck)

My question is this, I can create arcs but how do I change their orientation?

To further explain, when I create an arc in the top view the circle appears as a circle as viewed from above, so I switch views to side view to create an arc, say like a wheel on a car ( to illustrate) but the arc is still created in the top down plane (just a line) not the side view plane.

What am I doing wrong or not doing before or after?

If further clarification is needed, just say so.

I did try searching but as you can see from my explaination its a tricky question to verse correctly!

try the BobCAD help file; look for "workplane".

I'd be more specific but I'm not a bobcad user so have no clue beyond the terminology.
