Hi....When I generate code along a line with BobCad-CAM, for some unknown reason a G00 is thrown in for 1 or 2 blocks and then reverts back to G01. These lines should all be G01 eg: N0222 G01 X24.095 Y7.795 Z0. N0223 X24.178 Y7.736 Z0. N0224 X24.267 Y7.688 Z0. N0225 G00 X24.453 Y7.629 Z0. ;<<<<< this line N0226 X24.648 Y7.617 Z0. N0227 G01 X24.847 Y7.639 Z0. N0228 X25.249 Y7.734 Z0. N0229 X25.64 Y7.839 Z0. N0230 X26.018 Y7.954 Z0. Is this a setting that needs changing? Any suggestions would make checking easier. |

| What post processor are you using? I am using Mach 3 and I have been having problems with it leaving out a X or Y movement at times. It just started doing that this week. I do not know if these are related problems or two separate issues. |

| southernexplore.....I put BobCad-Cam disk in and did a Repair but no change in the code produced. marty7001.....The post processor is Fagor 8055. Tried with other PPs which produced exactly the same results at the same coords. I'm starting to think it has something to do with my drawing. The drawing was brought in as a dxf which was drawn as a Spline Line using SolidWorks. Copy of the dxf file I'm having trouble with attached. Thanks for the suggestions. | southernexplore On closer examination of the text I see there are gaps within the letters. This did not show in my original dxf file and only appears after saving from BobCad. Looks as if BobCad dosen't recognise some parts of the lines. I have attached a copy of the original dxf. Checking the difference will be appreciated. |

| southernexplore Are you opening with BobCad-Cam? I'm using V20.5 and can open the LogoOrgin.DXF with no problem. All on Z0 Plane. The bottom left corner of the text is approx, X120 Y100 mm. Did the Logo.dxf file open the same? |

| Are there any breaks in the line? I find that to cause me trouble. I can usually find the breaks in the lines by doing a shift-select and if the entire line is not selected then I zoom in to that section and find a small break. Close the break and try again until all is repaired. |
