| Hi, I'm using v19 and bobart to make some work and one thing I'd like to do is first extract a 2d vector, to make the part contour and a pocket all aroud it. Then engrave the 3d toolpath on the surface left. How does one do to remove all toolpath outside the 2d contour? This would be the pocket and much deeper so I would only need to select the toolpath inside of the contour. I'll have v20 in a few month but for now I need this to be possible in v19. I'll call support but I'd think maybe you guys have worked this one out? Para

| The best way is not to generate the path for the contour where you do not wish to cut. To do this you will either have to remove the area or draw a boundry to stay withen. If its in bobart you will need to remove the area you dont wish to cut. If in Bobcad then draw a boundry to stay inside of. |
