Drill Cycle Pecks from Rapid Plane

Hey, I am having trouble figuring out how to get BobCAD/CAM V24 drill cycles to work properly...

    Here is what I have

    Top of part= -2.5
Rapid Plane= 2.6 ( due to other features of the part that are taller)
And a .125" peck cycle (which estimates 6 pecks, but executes ~20)

The problem is the it insists on pecking from the rapid plane which wastes minutes on each hole (hard material, low RPM, slow feed)

Is there a way to get it to rapid to the XY and then travel quickly down to the top of part and peck from there?

I'm trying to think of the best way to explain this. Depending on how many holes and the layout of your geometry try this.

Select your holes as seperate features, set your top of part to the top of your hole, set your clearance plane at what ever it needs to be above the top of your hole to clear your other features( do this in your stock setup), set your rapid plane at .1 above top of part. This should rapid between features at the clearance plane then rapid down to the rapid plane and then drill then return to the rapid plane then rapid to the clearance plane and off to the next feature.

Your clearance plane would be .1 above stock and rapid plane would be .02 above the top of your hole.

    "Rapid Movements

Clearance Plane - The height at which the tool can rapid safely from operation to operation.

Rapid Plane - The height at which the tool can rapid safely from one hole to the next.( within a feature)

Top of Part - This is the face of the material that is to be machined"
