New User – ”Parameter is incorrect” error when trying to post

Cross-post, also posted on support forums at BobCAD-CAM | Powerful & Affordable CNC CAD/CAM Software Solutions
    ---------------------------------------------
I’ve just installed v24, and am trying to get my first test part out. I’m new to CNC, new to BobCad, but very experienced in Inventor & AutoCAD, and software development. Quite computer literate.
I’m hoping someone here can help me out, as I purchased v24 back in November (when I had money) and am now out of support.

Problem: When I try to post, I receive a “Parameter is incorrect” error dialog box.

    Procedure:
    1) Draw any part…. doesn’t matter how simple. Example attached.
    2) RMB ‘Cam Part > Milling Tools’ and LMB ‘Compute all toolpath’ just to be sure.
    3) RMB ‘Cam Part > Milling Tools’ and LMB ‘Post’…. a dialog box pops up indicating “The parameter is incorrect”

Using generic Mach3 post, just trying to get some actual NC code output for now.
I’m thinking it’s maybe…. machine setup? I thought I had followed all the steps necessary through the videos…. but maybe I missed something. Any thoughts appreciated.

    Win 7/64
    all Windows updates
    Bobcad v24 b376

Thanks to burrman for posting the fix in bobcad.com support forums.
A complete uninstall / reinstall off the factory v24 DVD (build 376) did the trick. I must have downloaded the demo earlier, and then licensed it, which isn't quite the same as a full install.

    Thanks for the input!
