    Version 24 Standard vs Pro?

I see the Pro version has a few extra steps in toolpath generation such as pencil and equidistant contouring etc.

Is the pro version worth it? Are those extra capabilities useful and worth it?

If you’re working off of solids with any complex surfaces the pro tool paths are a must. V23 was worthless to me until I added the extra tool paths.

If you do any 3D milling then V24Pro is a definate advantage.
If you Mainly do 2-2.5D milling but draw in 3D then V24Pro is still an advantage as you can use Advanced Rough to machine 2D pockets etc and the Z depths are already in the model.
If both of the above arn't what you do then its up to you if you think you may be doing some 3D in the future then maybe still get Pro.
See here for an example on 2d milling with a 3D tool path, scroll down to my posting.
