is it posibl to covert dxf to Iges ?

You can open the .dxf file and "save as" .iges.

my customer is giving me iges files..i need to convert to DXF for my Southwestern 2004 Trak DPM V5 (3-Axis) Milling machines. I have Proe, tried but machine wouldnt accept.. , but couldnt do anything else with it. dont have solidworks...

When Exporting DXF to IGES you have to consider the entity types that you are exporting.

Are you exporting Solids or just Wireframe?
