    Post Processor Blues

I just started working for a new company and have never had to do all of the setup before I'm learning. Were using bobcad version 19 and am trying to upgrade to version 24. I've been watching the videos and all but cant seem to get this up and going.

1.) Post processors! Does anyone know if bobcad version 19 made you use a post processor if so can I use the same file on 24 and how?
I’m running a Digital Tool, Inc. Router Meta machine from 1994. Made when I was 9! Were running Win CNC version 2 on the computer running the router. The routers step motors are controlled by an Anaheim box.
I’m not sure which post processor to use.

2.) I was able to set up materials and they stayed. I set up tools and they keep disappearing the next time I open anything different. Why won’t they stay????!

thanks in advance for any help

No .. two completely different files.

When adding tools the last file closed wins... Make sure when adding tools the file you close last is the file you have added the tools to.

    Or

Open the software add your tools then close the software, they should stay.

If not then the issue may be write permissions make sure the software is set to run as admin.
