using bobcad to create c axis g code? | |
Hi guys,
Can v17/18 create g-code for the c axis on a lathe? I have v17 and 18 but am not all that familiar with 18 as i dont have the tutorials for 18. My situation is, I milled a sprocket (very simmilar to a bike gear) in the machining centre and want to go from 4 operations (inc lathe) to just one and make the parts in a 7 axis lathe. I just wondered if bobcad could do this for me, or if anyone had any ideas for alternatives. I can wing it if needed but would like to do it properly with generated g-code. thanks. |
