Use Translate in the Utilities Menu. Or if you want them in circle use
Rotate. they both have a Copy button.

You can also do this from within MACH3, but I don't know the details. You would use work offsets, with each of the 20 positions defined, then just run the same single CAM file 20 times - one at each work offset.

You can use the nesting feature under the CAM section of the software

I'll have to check that out, never used it before. I don't make many parts in multiple, but would be nice to have the capability "in my back pocket" should the need arise...

An easy method is to draw the stock sheet and use translate with the copy function to place each piece (copy) onto the stock sheet in a manner to optimize your use of material. You can drag each copy or just offset it to coordinates. See the translate screen and it should be self explainatory.
    Hope this helps.

Bobcad does sell a nesting program. One thing to remember is that if you translate them over and up you have to program the whole thing has one part the toolpaths do not translate. Or use G54 G55 etc.. I have not used the nesting program but i beleave it translates the toolpaths.

I use bobcad nesting for my cnc plasma as well as my cnc routers. It works great and will allow you to set the stock distance from the edge as well as in between parts. I average approx 86 % utilization from the stock.

that's the thing i know i can use translate.... the thing is it;s really annoying.. you have too space them out your self... i just wanna pick a part, and let a program do the work... instead of me:P not too be lazy just get more work done!!! so is bobcad nesting worth spending the money on>
