I need a small brake/shear that will handle up to .09 hard aluminum (6061 t6). Twenty four inch width is more then enough. The only hard requirement is that it does not warp the metal when shearing it so a set of hold down fingers are essential. Grizzly and others have combinations that look like they will do the job in the $500.00 area. I have no problem with this price point but was hoping there might be a superior machine on the market for a few bucks more. Years ago I had a Pexto that worked just fine but it was quite a bit bigger and heavier. I would also appreciate recommendations on a good used machine that would fit these specifications. That would give me a reason to familiarize myself with E bay. ![]() Vern |
