Amada Press Brake Controller problem

Hi, I just bought a rebuilded Amada FBD-8025 Brake Press, it has 8-axis movement with a windows 3.11 based controller and touchscreen, after a few minutes of working fine, the touchscreen goes off, and I have to reset the whole machine and start over again, its arround ten minutes that the screen goes off no matter whatever you're doing, My guess is the power supply for the PC is not working correctly, I'm trying a few things today.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Is it just the screen goes blank? If you know the position of a function, does the touch screen still activate it?
If so, if it is LCD screen it could be the backlight inverter failing, you can tell this by looking at the rear of the LCD, the florescent light should be lit.
replacement lamps and invertors are available from DigiKey.

Hi, you were right, the backlight of the screen is failing, I'll bring a technician to see if he can fix it or replace it.

You can actually measure the output of the inverter, it is 800 to 1000vdc.
Usually if the screen goes blank suddenly it is the inverter, if it fades out, it is the tube.
