Hello everybody:
I have one problem with my Dynabend 1 controller, when you power on, in the control panel it blinks the "CAL" key and all display windows shows just "0", the motor never runs, if I press the "CAL" key it ligths without blinking but nothing happens!, can any body help me???, or does anybody has the user manual?.

I don't know if I still have the manual, I will check, but in the mean time I seem to recall one reason is if the brake UP L.S. is made/not-made (?), it will do the same thing.

The UP posittion Limit Switch is "clossed" when press mechanism is at UP position and "open" when DOWN position.
I have checked the motor and it brake, but there is no any voltage, motor and brake are with no voltage and you can turn the motor shaft by hand. Í would like to know if that controller symptom ("CAL" blinking) is normal and problem is in the "servo amplifier"!!!.
Thanks.

Sounds like a servo/power fault.
You should have resistance on the shaft.
I have retrofitted a few of these with Galil card.

It look very nice!, do you make all that design to interface with the servoamplifier?....In my case do you think that CAL blinking and display "000" is OK and problem is in the amplifier (motor has a resistence of 1 Ohm while brake 10 Ohms, so I think they are OK)????
Thanks.

I put the whole system together, designed around the Galil and AMC drive.
I will see if I can dig the manual out and get back tomorrow.

According to the maintenance manual, if continuous flashing of CAL indicates motor drive or drive power supply, make sure O.T. limits and reset switch is not operated, and check all voltages +40vdc, -40vdc, +15vdc, -15vdc, check motor with external dc supply, push reset sw on servo motor enclosure.
