Std Press or H brake? upstroke or down stroke? break

Want to get one, whats the advantages of the traditional style, seems like it just limits your flange size more then an H brake, unless your planning on bending flanges longer then the brake.

Why would anybody want an upstroke?

Whats the best book for learning about bending?
