    K Values And Bend Radii

Background: I have very little metal working knowledge. At my internship though, I do have to model and draft metal parts (mainly sheet metal) in Autocad Inventor. Usually, I have have the part drawing but sometimes those are unclear and lacking. If I have a physical part, I'll trace it on paper but bent shapes throw me off a little.

What are K values and how do they affect the bending of metal? Also, how can one figure out the bend radius from a physical part?

    thanks,
    Frank
