    Production Question

    Hello-
I'm looking to compare costs. I'm looking at comparing your household soup can style verses the oil filter style of can. Currently I could purchase an open end tin can 2.5" Diameter x 4" Hieght at $0.53 per can no mater the order amount size. Possibly more with custom measurements. This is a non ribbed can and has a seem running virticle. I'm not concerned with top lids at the current moment.

The concerns I have is the verticle seem in the can and the measurements. I would like to get a production cost on having a stamped out (I guess this is what it is called) can/cup keeping the same density as a non ribbed soup can but with the measurements I need. The closest exmplewould be an oil filter.
Is this a comparable cost? Less Expensive?
Desired measurements are 2.3" Diameter x 4.5" hieght.
Please keep in mind I will seal this stamp out cup the same way as the soup can.
    Any information is greatly apprecited.
    Thank you,
    Brandon

Well figuring that I can get a can of ranch style beans in a can for $0.53, your can is overpriced a bit.

The can with a vertical seam is an apple, and the formed can is an orange.....hard to compare the two.....but the orange is more expensive as you need some expensive tooling to punch and form it.
