| Depends upon what you want to do. Send me an email at mc_n_g@yahoo.com There are several options. The hand machines you were looking at are called bridgers or bridging machine (or at least thats what we were informed they were). They apply small tonage with a small levered motion. We have used them to make the final step in a spring steel clips prior to hardening. The key is to make dies for them in the form or shapes you need. We use O1 tool steel or 1018 with tool steel inserts for the 'wear areas' so they are replaceable. What kind of die press? OBI? Hydraulic? We use clicker presses (old shoe leather cutting platforms to cut rubber and foam. Send me an email. I can give you my number if you want to chat about what you want to do. mc_n_g |
