Hollow forgings

Hi,

Does any body have a good link to some information on how to hot forge hollow aluminium components? I am trying to understand the process but cannot seem to find much background reading or examples online.

No prior experience but I would expect you'd need an inside mandrel to be able to forge anything hollow. And the mandrel would need to be drafted so it could be removed after forging. Would limit possible inside shapes quite a bit.
