I'm trying to make a simple box to house a power supply. I originally used some 1.2mm sheet aluminium cut and bent into to U shapes both with flanges to be drilled and tapped. This design works but is hard to get the two peices together or apart once the components are inside. Is there a better way to do this? Ive searched and searched on google but I'm not getting anywhere. The only other design I have found utilises 2 U shapes again but only 1 with flanges. However I cant see how this design keeps the two sides without flanges in place. I need the designs to waste as little material as possible. |
