    Newbie: CNCDIY's CNC4060 Router - Good?

Hi i'm new here and a totally newbie when it comes to run CNC machines.

I need some advice regarding "Tonsen" CNC6040, CNCDIY Machines say they sell Tonsen machines but im not 100% sure if this is Tonsen. Tonsen seams to be a nice machine for that kind of money according to you guys in this thread.

I have been in contact with CNCDIY Machines about CNC6040 But we are actually looking for a plug-in-ready-to-run adhesive dispensing robot (XYZ) like http://img.alibaba.com/photo/2063900...nser_robot.jpg to applying adhesive precisely on plastic parts (ABS).

Would it be possible to use a CNC-router (without a spindle) as a XYZ-"robot" to apply the adhesive?

We already have the adhesive dispenser equipment but need a XYZ-"robot" to move the syringe around the 3D-space.

The seller promised me to deliver the machine with a controller with a output relay that can be controlled from the Mach3 program. The is essentially to control the on/off of the adhesive flow.

As i'm a mechanical desinger working in Solidworks, i could maybe have some fun with it as engraver and milling machine too.

    Is it a good machine?

    Thankful for any comments, Peter

I think this machine is good. The machine comes with ball bearing screws on all three axes. Also are the two X axis guide pins are fully supported for extra steadiness.
