Grease ballscrews?

Assembling my X3 with the CNC Fusion kit. I noticed on my Haas TM-1 that the ballscrews are greased. Should I grease the ballscrews on my X3, oil them, ??

Ballscrews are usually oiled, not greased. I believe Nook specifically recommends NOT using grease, as it's more likely to pull swarf into the nut. But, on a hobby machine, it really won't make a bit of difference.

the only time i use oil is with an automatic oil system,other wise you will need to stand there all day with the oil can,use grease and run it back and fourth until u have plenty on it,i do that once a week depending on use

I figured to use grease. I am making some way covers and motors covers so chips won't get on my screws.
