New Model of Mini Mill and Lathe

Anybody out there have one of the new "Brushless motor" X2 Mini-Mills? I saw a review over on Mini-lathe.com http://www.mini-lathe.com/Mini_mill/...%20SX2/SX2.htm It Looks pretty interesting to me. The Mini-lathe also has an upgrade. The new model numbers are SX2 for the mill and SC2 for the lathe.

ooh that motor would be nice to get ahold of.
First thing I would do is change out the drive pulley for a larger one,
2500 rpm is still too slow, they still missed the mark there.
Still a real nice improvement, no need to buy a belt drive kit.
The price difference will be interesting to see.
Shows the X2 is still a very popular mill.

Very interesting, thanks for posting it up.

The digital tacho is an interesting option too.

I think that one of those motors would work pretty well for a 4th axis option!!!

This is a very nice improvement. BLDC motors are quite powerful--even at lowest RPM.

Hopefully Grizzly will be selling this and the new lathe next year.
