Then you should BUY the X2. There's a reason why Hoss could do all that he did to it--It's a much more solid mill. It's not too late to cancel your X1 order and switch it to an X2.

Thanks for all the links CR! Im going to stick with the X1 for now, very small cuts are fine with me, its just gonna be something to toy around with and make frames for my RC rock crawling hobby and small pellet gun parts.

When I get the money after fully upgrading this to the max, I'd like to get an X3 or a super X3 or a similar mill or a 10x54 Bridgeport in a few years.

Thanks for the links and advice man, well appreciated =] I hopefully get the mill tomorrow or next Thursday.

Ill go beltdrive as soon as i can afford it [bills, school, gas, food] Tooling, ill make a drawbar rather than spend $12 + shipping and tax, im cheap =]
Endmill holders, Ill definately buy some, but I might try to make some at class. Some friends and I are gonna do a big Enco buy so we save on shipping, hopefully in a month, so Ill get a bunch of bits and other stuff.

Thats all for now, peace out.
