Seig X3 delivery

I am thinking about ordering either Seig X3 mill equivalents from either Harbor Freight of Grizzly.

I would need it delivered to my house and would require the delivery truck to have a tail lift gate and trolly of some kind to deliver it into my garage.

Does anybody have experience with deliveries from either of these two suppliers and can tell me whether they can do this?

Thanks

David

Grizzly has lift gate service for $75.00. That's how I got mine delivered.

Yep! Me too. Just make sure an 18 wheeler with long trailer can get onto your street. If so, then the truck will set your ~400 LB mill crate on the curb, and you take it from there.

In my case, the truck could not make the turn onto my lane. My neighbor has a small tractor though, and it went off the truck, into the bucket, along the 1/10 mile lane and into the shop door.

My lift gate fee was wasted.

I was waiting with a $10 4-wheel wooden dolly from HF for the Grizzly X3 and I was able to rock it up onto the 4-wheel dolly and wheel it out of the street, up my driveway and into the garage without much trouble at all.

Getting it up on the table is a whole other matter!

Congrats! You've done the hard part.

That's the easy part. You have to disassemble it to do a good prep anyway. Just set the bare base up on the table and reassemble it there--one piece at a time--Voila!
