| I really like working with white particle board when it comes to my shop. I have done some research on melamine. It does appear to be waterproof because it is a type of resin/plastic product. I'm just asking for a second opinion because I need to use some inside my milling machine enclosure that runs full flood. And other than keeping the actual wood dry, i'm not concerned with it being submersed, cause it wont be. It will simply be getting splattered on. Just thought I'd ask. -Jason |

| The melamine surface itself is nearly indestructible, and impervious to most fluids you'd find in a shop, but you need to do something to seal all the seams, and make sure the melamine surface does not get damaged in any way - If coolant, or pretty much any liquid, gets into the particle board itself, it will disintegrate rapidly.
