Hello, I have a benchtop mill. Not sure what brand it is but it's made in India. The Y motor went back to far and pushed the bearing out of it's housing in back of the machine and siezed the motor up. I bought a new motor and installed it and that motor also siezes up. I think the problem might be in the board of the controller, it is a DSP Servo 511, but I'm not sure what to look for on the board, or where to buy a new board. We are running Mach 3 with it. |

| Are you sure it is the motor? Can you run the new motor in free air? I would be suspicious that the bearing that was pushed out might be damaged, or the screw or nut may be out of alignment after the crash, causing binding. |
