    44991 P/S Board

    Hey all,

I was trying to help a friend with his mill. He apparently left his mill on at the potentiometer and it looks like something got damaged. I converted mine a year ago and cant find my old board. I was thinking that someone else out there that has coinverted the power supply might have one sitting on the shelf they might want to sell. LMS has them but more that he can afford right now. If anyone wants to part with one let me know and maybe we can work something out.
    Thanks,
    Bruce

The controller from Surplus Center is a good replacement and a little cheaper than the original from LMS.

    Lightbulb Thanks HOSS

    Thanks HOSS,

That one is similar to the one I'm using. Also while i have your attention I would like to thank you for all your contributions to the ZONE and the ever increasing knowledge base of the machining community. You are truly an asset.
One of these days I'll figure out how to post pics and get some on here of my machine.
    Thanks Again,
    Bruce

    update

OK, I talked to my buddy and he would really like to try to find an OEM board for the simplicity of things. Anyone out there happen to have a board they want to sell? He is also concerned that board is only 0-90vdc to run the 110vdc motor. He mostly works on aluminum and plastic so he doesnt want to lose any spindle speed.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bruce

Check out the other speed controller thread. He can have a nice stout setup for 1/4 the price.

    Thanks

Thanks for the help guys. I got him to go with other than OEM so it should be here in a couple days and I'll have him back up and running shortly after that.
Again, Thanks to all the people here for all the knowledge being spread in a fast fading trade.
