    Timing Pulleys

I've been looking around for a nice place to get timing pulleys. I've searched and found them at mcmaster and a couple other places, but does anyone have any suggestions for other places that dont mind dealing with smaller companies/individuals.

Reid Tool supply, Misumi, Sterling Stock Drive Products. All mail order.
Also most major N.American cities have bearing & transmission outlets that stock them.

Stock Drive Products (http://www.sdp-si.com/) Has a nice little online center distance designer program for their pulleys and belts,,, A major help for me when I was sketching out my cnc mill conversion.

Yes, I have done business with them on two seperate occasions,,, with the only hitch was when they were out of stock of something I ordered,,, It arrived at my house a day or so after the original shipment. I have no complaints.

From the breaker's yard. Most cars now have those as camshaft drives. I just changed pulleys on the balance shafts on my AR, and as they show no visible wear, so they go into the future projects stock (some call it junk bin).
I use camshaft pulleys on my mill Z-drive, the pitch is standard so getting a belt in the correct length was no problem.
