Was wondering what is the most X and Y axis travel anyone has ever gotten out of an X3 while using an original base? Today I removed the meat on the tables endplates where it would stop on the saddle. So now the X axis screw nut is where the endplates now stop on. I'm getting 20 1/2" of X travel. I'm still only getting the stock 5 3/4" of Y travel and am open to suggestions on how to get any amount more. |
