I have the machine very well sorted out, IMHO. Since I had it in an unheated garage over the winter, I never mixed up any flood coolant, so I never worked out a proper enclosure. This is pretty much the only thing I would attempt to improve upon... and now that I have a Cincinnati Arrow 500 VMC
the RF45 machine is redundant, and the wife says it's gotta go. Bummer, it is nice having a machine in the garage. Come and get it!
Joe
Hello Joe,
You have got to be kidding me! I have been in the process the last couple of weeks researching bed mills, getting ready to head up to Connecticut, and you are right down the street.
Jim
Joe,
I went and checked out Joe's CNC mill Monday, (thanks for the demo!). It runs like a champ, quiet and powerful. He ran a circle cut out within minutes of me arriving. Mach 3, the programmed soft stops, and limit micros are dialed in, making this a real user friendly machine. The jog pendant works excellent, great for simple jobs. The display can be brought close for setup, then moved back out of the way for action. Very impressive!
Jim
Thanks for the endorsement Jim. Wonder if the machine will sell... 18 watchers on eBay but no bids, and only one question from someone trying poke holes in details listed in the auction. Oh well, tough economy.
Joe
Joe,
18 watchers is a pretty good eBay sign. The real action happens within the last 10 minutes for serious buyers.
