    Recurring Issue

I have this issue that keeps popping up every so often. I have a Mini Mill built from LittleMachineShop parts, which usually runs smooth and true. But then the, " x" axis bearing comes lose, as to chatter under less than medium hand speed loads. I have re tightened it about twenty time or more only to have it go wonky again. Any ideas as to how I can simply correct this issue.

That's a fabulous idea. Seriously I didn't even think of that, thanks.

Try to add another nut to the end if you still have enough screw end. You can tightened the outer nut to secure the x axis bearing in place.

By doing so, you won't have problem with having to work hard to get the nut out as the locktite may stick so well. Just a thought.

Use the blue low/medium loctite as the red high strength will require heat to remove it most of the time.
