I have a CNC X2 mill. I bought the conversion parts (Ballscrews, nut, mounts, etc. used from someone and I think he made the mounts himself. The X and Z setup is rock solid, but the Y needs help. It was not great originally and seems to be getting worse. The problem is loose motion in the motor mount and bearing arrangement. I don't want to throw away the X & Z parts, so I would like to buy just the Y motor mount (NEMA 23), bearings, ballscrew & nut. I would machine my own mount, but I don't like how mine is made now and I don't have the means to machine another ballscrew to match up with a different type of mount. Any suggestions where I might buy just part of a kit so I don't end up with extra parts I don't need? Thanks! |
